Here are Zepp’s current deals (no promo codes needed):
While it was available, we considered the Zepp Clarity Pixie to be one of the best invisible hearing aids. While its acoustic performance was solid (SoundScore of 3.88/5), it scored low on battery life, ease-of-use, and it lacked Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, it has since been discontinued.
Hearing aid prices have dropped dramatically since 2018, with the average cost falling from $4,672 to $2,694 per pair, a 42% decrease driven largely by over-the-counter options, insurance coverage, and retailers like Costco. This is the result of HearingTracker's latest survey on the cost of hearing aids, where we queried more than 1,100 hearing aid purchasers. However, prices still vary enormously depending on where and what you buy.
Over-the-counter hearing aids average $502 per pair, ranging from as low as $20 to around $1,800 for premium OTC models with professional support. In contrast, prescription hearing aids purchased privately (without insurance) average $3,432 per pair, while those bought with insurance average $2,567. Understanding these baseline costs helps you evaluate whether a "deal" is genuinely competitive.
The key to getting value in the OTC market is recognizing that not all devices deliver the same performance. Research shows hearing aids under $500 often have inferior sound quality due to hardware limitations, while devices around $1,000-$1,800 (like Jabra Enhance Select 700) approach prescription-level performance. Budget OTC buyers paying around $110-$150 report only 48% satisfaction rates, compared to 71% satisfaction among those who purchased higher-end OTC devices with professional telehealth support.
Meanwhile, Costco continues to offer the best prescription value at $1,674 per pair, featuring advanced technology from major manufacturers like Philips, Jabra, Rexton, and Sennheiser at prices 65% lower than traditional clinics.
When evaluating OTC deals, compare not just the sticker price but the quality tier, professional support included, and trial/return policies to ensure you're getting genuine value rather than just a cheap device.
Just because it's on sale doesn't mean it's a good deal for you. Follow these guidelines to ensure you're getting the best value when you purchase hearing aids online.
